The Art of the Line

Vespa Me

A Vespa scooter and its two riders bring a Mediterranean outing to life. A café terrace, lemons, coastal houses and a sailboat set the scene for this escape. Popléa brings movement and an easy way of life together in a black-and-white drawing whose generous lines connect the characters to the landscape.

POPLÉA

The Art of the Line

Following in the footsteps of Keith Haring, POPLÉA explores the power of the line: simple, expressive and deceptively naive. Lines become movement, characters and stories, connecting playful figures, imagined cities and reinvented icons.

Simplicity demands precision. Finding a line that says much with little means choosing what to keep and what to leave out. Beneath the apparent spontaneity, lines create rhythm and characters respond to one another.

The Art of the Line: POPLÉA’s line, free to tell a story.
